The Painter / The Author
Martin Handford is the only child in his single-parent family. He began to draw when he was 4 years old. During his childhood, he liked to draw people walking on a street or how crowd interacts with each other. This experience and the toy soldiers he played inspire himself on his drawing style.
Waldo’s spirit
From being a small figure in a painting to influencing a crowd of people in a society, Waldo shows that even he is only a small figure, his fun, joy and happiness can affect people from children to adults. Little change maybe small but it would become bigger once you decide to change and do something about it.
Put Waldo in Mitac
People are not easy to satisfy their lives. Sometimes, they only complain or blame instead. As a design team, why not we just do something to change? Simply by putting Waldo in a gloomy toilet room, we hope not only Waldo spirit can influence people positively but encourage more and more employees to improve their environment as well. If you hope to change something, why just make the hope become an action ?!
