How to ensure sound quality


Invisible important DVR usability

You might have experience that your DVR warning you are in over speeding or there are speed ​​camera ahead by making sound to telling you. How to ensure driver could get DVR sound warning in noise driving scenario by through comfort sound tone !? it's part of usability objective we need to care about.

 

Where does these sound come from?

In DVR product, usually using smaller size speaker component, there are Flexible & Fix type component we could see in DVR product. Flexible type speaker usually stick on shell cover, so it able to adjust speaker hole location. And fix type component is literally fix on placement, so it is disable to do hole location adjustment.

 


At least 15%-20% speaker hole open rate

To ensure sound quality, usually the speaker hole design need to reach the minimum open rate requirement based on component spec. of course open rate the bigger the better. below is example telling how to calculate basic open rate requirement.
